I recently had lunch at this Japanese restaurant, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The sashimi, nigiri, and iberico pork robata were all exceptionally good. However, the salmon robata was slightly overcooked. On the flip side, the matcha mille crêpe dessert was delightful. The service was attentive, contributing to an overall positive culinary experience.

We recently dined at Sumi for the first time during the dinner hours. The ambiance was bustling and lively, although we couldn't help but appreciate the tasteful decor. The menu was certainly enticing, boasting a diverse selection of sushi dishes at what seemed to be very reasonable prices. However, once our orders arrived, we were disappointed by the relatively small portions, which made the overall experience seem a bit expensive. Despite this setback, the flavors of the dishes were delightful, and their presentation was spot-on. Regrettably, the service left much to be desired. Our waiter didn't even introduce the dishes when serving them, which we found to be somewhat impolite and unexpected for an establishment of this caliber. To be candid, there are numerous other dining options in London that offer superior quality and service at a similar price point. As things stand, I don't foresee us returning to Sumi in the future.

I had a delightful lunch at Sumi. The atmosphere seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with a cozy Japandi vibe, creating a serene dining experience. The sashimi was fresh, and the seafood gohan was delicious. The friendly service added to the overall positive experience. A standout was the Sumi banana ice cream, a delightful treat that truly captures the essence of real bananas. Highly recommended for a satisfying Japanese culinary experience.

Had a birthday dinner here. It was really lovely. Cocktails were amazing, wasabi cocktail was incredible. Food was delicious. The mushroom gohan was a good size and deep flavours. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you to the waitress last night who made the evening great!
